Celebrity baby names are always one or the other: either a rather “normal” name or a truly unique one that has fans talking for weeks afterward. Hollywood is no stranger to unique baby names, but something rather unique is when quite a few celebs have the same name for their children.
We all remember the Charlie Wolf incident in 2019, when quite a few celebrities gave their sons the same first and middle name. While there’s nothing as wild as that, we’ve seen quite a few celebrities give their kids the same name. In 2025, everyone seems to be naming their kid Ocean. Before that, the name everyone talked about was Birdie, or Daisy.
With all the celebrity parents in Tinseltown, there’s bound to be a few celebrity kids who share the same name, no matter how unique or cosmic it is. And we found quite a few examples.

Zooey Deschanel, Carly Waddell, Lauren Conrad: Charlie Wolf

Zooey Deschanel named her son Charlie Wolf back in 2017, and then Lauren Conrad named her secondborn Charlie Wolf, born on Oct 8, 2019. Deschanel even talked about the coincidence, saying, Us Weekly, “That was so weird, right? I don’t think she knew it.”
She added, “[Conrad and I] have a really good mutual friend and she was like, ‘Did you know that Lauren Conrad…'” Deschanel shared. “I said, ‘No, that’s so funny!’ She’s like, ‘I don’t think she knew it.'”
One month later, Bachelor in Paradise alum Carly Waddell welcomed a son in Nov 2019, and named him Charlie Wolf.
