When we think of musicians writing songs dedicated to someone in their lives we usually think of a lover or an ex, not their kids. But there are so many other relationships that deserve the attention of our affections — friends, parents, grandparents, and of course, children.
Some of the most beautiful, poignant, and loving love songs were written by musicians about their children? From Beyoncé to The Chicks to Machine Gun Kelly (and so many in between) these artists have all released love songs that they wrote for and about their children. So sweet, right?
Check out our list of celebrities who’ve written songs about their kids, and take a listen to discover new gems and rediscover forgotten favorites.
If you’re a fellow KPop Demon Hunters fan, Target’s upcoming exclusive album drop is one you’ll want to add to your collection for one very important reason — photocards. Specifically, the potential for Saja Boys photocards. Cue “Soda Pop,” please.
In true K-pop fashion, the KPop Demon Hunters movie soundtrack released with special extras that you’d typically find in any other K-pop album. One inclusion that fans go absolutely crazy for are the photocards, which feature the artist or members of the group. You can think of them as collectible treasures — like baseball cards or Pokémon cards — with rare ones being so highly coveted, they can sell for hundreds of dollars.
With that said, given the massive popularity of the Netflix movie, it’s no surprise that fans were eager to collect photocards featuring their favorite characters. In fact, right now, you can buy the KPop Demon Hunters soundtrack at retailers like Amazon or Walmart for a chance to get one of three photocards featuring the girls of HUNTR/X. But if you buy the Target-exclusive version, you have your chance to get one of nine photocards. As any K-pop fan would agree, the chance to snag a photocard of your ult bias is reason enough to buy an extra album (or two).
KPOP DEMON HUNTERS ALBUM RELEASE
Now, this is all speculation as we don’t know for sure, but just take a look at the photocard options above The first three? Obviously HUNTR/X, as you can see a little bit of Rumi’s iconic purple hair in the front. Then, take a look at the five watercolor photocards afterward. Now, who do we know that has five members and a dreamy, candy-colored vibe? Again, it’s all speculation, but everything points to Saja Boys, right? So, if you’ve been wanting to collect some Saja Boys photocards, there is a chance you may get one with the Target-exclusive album. Like other versions of the album, you’ll also get a fold-out poster in addition to the photocard.
As a reminder, the Target-exclusive KPop Demon Hunters album releases on Friday, September 5th. If you want to secure your album as we’re sure these will sell out fast (FYI, many Target-exclusive K-pop albums do), you can pre-order yours online today.

We’ve got the full list of Reese Witherspoon‘s 2025 book club picks so far, including her August 2025 selection, and they’re some of our favorites yet!
Since it was founded in 2017, Reese’s Book Club has been our go-to for monthly book recommendations. Filled with picks that largely center female authors and female stories, the book club has been responsible for making authors into best-sellers and even leading to some incredible screen adaptations.
In January, The Morning Show star kicked things off with The Three Lives of Cate Kay by Kate Fagan.“She’s a literary sensation, the face behind a blockbuster film trilogy, but her life isn’t what it seems,” Witherspoon detailed about the story in her announcement. “This story swept me away with its big dreams, love, and unexpected twists.”
In February, she changed gears and recommended Isola by Allegra Goodman. The book, which follows the heroine as she’s left to fend for herself in the wilderness, is about “love, resilience, defiance,” Witherspoon said. “This is easily one of my favorite historical fiction reads yet,” she said in her announcement.
As the year rolls on, the book club picks keep on coming. Check out all her 2025 picks below!
Reese Witherspoon’s August 2025 book club pick is Once Upon a Time in Dollywood by Ashley Jordan, a twisty new romance book that will break your heart and patch it back up again.
Witherspoon announced Once Upon a Time in Dollywood as her August 2025 pick on Tuesday, August 5, following up her July selection, Spectacular Things by Beck Dorey-Stein.
“I read this book in one sitting,” Witherspoon said in an Instagram reel announcing the pick. “You feel like you’re talking to one of your best friends.”
Ashley Jordan’s debut novel centers on Eve Ambroise, a playwright whose career is taking off right as her personal life is crumbling. Fresh off a breakup from her fiancé, Eve cuts off her parents and heads for the Tennessee Mountains to start over.
Her story is that she’s just there on a writing retreat, but that lie becomes too much in the face of the prying but well-intentioned townspeople, including one neighbor who has just as much baggage as she does.
That neighbor, Jamie Gallagher, is a single dad looking for a fresh start of his own after a bitter custody battle with his ex. As he tries to navigate life without his kids at home full-time, he is drawn to Eve, even though a new romance is the last thing he needs.
Both Eve and Jamie have loved and lost, and are terrified of being hurt again, but will the mountains bring them together or push them apart?
Jordan is an alum of the second round of Reese’s Book Club LitUp fellows, a fellowship for amateur women and non-binary writers of diverse backgrounds that seeks to offer a launchpad for unpublished writers with diverse voices.
Each round of Reese’s Book Club LitUp provides five emerging writers with an all-expenses-paid retreat along with a three-month mentorship with a published author and marketing support from Reese’s Book Club. “Congratulations, Ashley,” Witherspoon added in her post. “You guys, check out her book. It is so good.”
Once Upon a Time in Dollywood is available now.

Tabloids, anonymous sources, and paparazzi aside, there’s only so much we can know about our favorite celebrities — unless they decide to tell us more. After years (or decades) of having their stories told in the press, many celebs decide to set the record straight with a career-spanning memoir later on, reviewing highly-publicized incidents from their point of view and sharing intimate details only they could have known. So, no matter how much celebrity gossip you keep up on, memoirs are where the true secrets are revealed, and stars like Jessica Simpson, Demi Moore, and more have all made our jaws drop with their revelations in recent years.
To say that these celeb memoirs have rocked our world would be an understatement. From detailing sexual abuse or childhood abuse to opening up about struggles with addiction, rehab, or volatile relationships, these celebrities dug really, really deep, and even explained why they felt compelled to come forward. In short, most celebrities keenly remember a period of time in their lives when they felt lost, confused, and isolated — and they hope that, by speaking out about their own experiences, they can be a symbol of hope and solidarity to those struggling now.
It’s unimaginably brave for these celebrities to have shared all they did, and we’re so grateful they took the time to put it all down on paper. Read on for a complete list of celebrity memoirs that showed us a whole new side to Hollywood, fame, and growing up in the spotlight.

As many know, the Prince of Darkness Ozzy Osbourne passed away this week, mere weeks after his farewell show, but what many don’t know is that his second memoir will be released posthumously in October; and it tells fans everything.
His family confirmed he passed away at the age of 76 in a statement, reading, “It is with more sadness than mere words can convey that we have to report that our beloved Ozzy Osbourne has passed away this morning. He was with his family and surrounded by love. We ask everyone to respect our family’s privacy at this time. Sharon, Jack, Kelly, Aimee and Louis.” And now, fans can get another glimpse into his life come this October.
Ozzy’s long-awaited second memoir, Last Rites, is all about the last seven years of his life, going into detail about his health struggles and his 40-year marriage to Sharon Osbourne.
It shares “shocking, bitterly hilarious, never-before-told” stories of Ozzy’s life as he dealt with near-total paralysis, and his reflections on his very chaotic life.
It’s already the number one bestseller in Rock Band Biographies; and you can pre-order his memoir today ahead of its October 7 release!
But if you want to read more in-depth stories about Ozzy now, we highly recommend taking a gander at his first memoir: the 2011 book entitled I Am Ozzy. I Am Ozzy is his first “tell-all memoir of sex, drugs, and rock-and-roll;” and he holds nothing back as he reveals it all (and how his family truly saved his life).
And while you have to wait a bit for Last Rites, I Am Ozzy is available now!

Let’s break down the slang term and explain why artists from Oasis to Justin Bieber are getting dubbed “recession indicators.”
TikTok’s version of a recession indicator, for those unfamiliar with the inside joke taking off on social media, isn’t an actual economic term but rather a label being applied to pop culture trends that seem reminiscent of a time of financial upheaval.
People are wearing capris again, influencer Alix Earle is bringing back the messy bun, and short manicures are in again. All of this, coupled with Trump’s tariffs and a new tax bill that’s set to increase the national debt by $3.4 trillion over the next decade, is creating a sense of impending doom among young people about the economy.
But, as is typical of Gen Z, the only way to survive the mental toll is by making a silly little joke online. Thus, we have “recession indicators.”
16-year-old Clive says Justin Bieber dropping his comeback album, titled Swag, the 2000s favourite slang term, is a recession indicator. So is the Oasis reunion. Brothers Noel and Liam Gallagher reunited 16 years after they split at the end of the last Great Recession.
Anais, also 16, agreed that music artists of the 2000s coming back into the public consciousness is definitely a recession indicator. Her example? Kesha, who dropped her album, Period, in July and earned a career-first number one.
Even Ed Sheeran agrees. The musician is currently promoting his upcoming album, Play, with the release of new singles that are bringing us back to the aughts. When a TikTok commenter wrote that they had to “admit Ed Sheeran is kinda cool now,” Sheeran responded, “a recession indicator.”
Looks like anything can be a recession indicator if you think about it hard enough! Or maybe we’re all just feeling nostalgic all of a sudden. We’ll leave it to the economists to decide.
Despite both being such iconic actresses, sisters Dakota Fanning and Elle Fanning, will be joining the screen together for the first time ever. Not only that, but they’ll be collaborating on the long-awaited film adaptation of the BookTok-loved book from 2015, The Nightingale by Kristin Hannah.
The book tells the story of two sisters, Vianne and Isabelle, who are in France during World War II. As they try to survive, Vianne continues life as a wife and mother in Nazi-occupied France, while her sister Isabelle joins the French Resistance.
Dakota is set to play Vianne and Elle is set to play Isabelle.
TriStar has set a date, saying it will be released on Feb 12, 2027. Along with being written by the author, they’ve tapped Dana Stevens, who was a writer on films like Safe Haven, The Woman King, and Fatherhood. They’ve also tapped To Leslie director Michael Morris to direct this.
Reese Witherspoon and Lauren Neustadter for Hello Sunshine are set to produce as well, per Deadline. (This makes sense when you remember it’s a Reese Book Club Pick!)
Reese even wrote via her Book Club’s site, “Our March 2023 #ReesesBookClub Pick has sparked SO many conversations in the @hellosunshine office lately. The Nightingale by @KristinHannahAuthor is arguably one of the most powerful, most captivating novels about WWII in recent years. This important story illuminates a part of history that’s often overlooked: the women’s war. It’s a harrowing tale of two sisters, survival, love and female resilience throughout Nazi-occupied France. If you haven’t read it yet (we know how popular it’s been!!), read along with us this month @ReesesBookClub!”

Fourth Wing tells the story of Violet Sorrengail, a frail yet impossibly smart 20-year-old who is set to attend Basgiath War College in the mythical land of Navarre. On Conscription Day, aka the day when they’re assigned their Quadrant, Violet’s mother forces her to choose the most noble yet challenging option: becoming a dragon rider.
“With fewer dragons willing to bond than cadets, most would kill Violet to better their own chances of success,” the description reads. “Everyone at Basgiath War College has an agenda―because once you enter, there are only two ways out: graduate or die.”
AMAZON PRIME DAY 2025
Iron Flame then begins after Violet’s managed to survive her first year at Basgiath against all the odds stacked against her. But, despite her growing skills, the challenges this year bring are more “grueling and maliciously brutal,” the description reads.
“Although Violet’s body might be weaker and frailer than everyone else’s, she still has her wits―and a will of iron,” the description teases. “And leadership is forgetting the most important lesson Basgiath has taught her: Dragon riders make their own rules.”
AMAZON PRIME DAY 2025
Lastly comes Onyx Storm, the third installment of the series, which was released earlier this year. The book follows Violet eighteen months into the Basgiath War College, when tensions have reached an all-time high.
“Because the battle has truly begun, and with enemies closing in from outside their walls and within their ranks, it’s impossible to know who to trust,” the description reads.
As a result, she ventures out into unfamiliar lands to find allies. “The trip will test every bit of her wit, luck, and strength, but she will do anything to save what she loves―her dragons, her family, her home, and him.”
