Can you feel it? The days are getting shorter and the weather is getting a wee bit cooler. Pumpkin spice season is nearly here — in fact, some of you may already be sipping on PSLs as we speak. To ring in arguably the best season of the year, Costco already rolled out its famous pumpkin pies, because why should we wait to enjoy them after fall is already in full swing? If pumpkin spice lattes can have a moment, then pumpkin pies deserve a moment, too.
“Omgeeee pumpkin pies spotted today and the same great price of $5.99!” Shannon from Costco So Obsessed on Instagram wrote in a caption of a recent post. “Is it too early, or will you be buying one?”
In her post, Shannon shared a few shots of the pumpkin pie cooler in the bakery section, and they look so tasty. You can remove them from the plastic packaging and pop them right into the oven to heat them up and serve with ice cream after dinner. Or, keep them cold to treat yourself at breakfast time alongside a hot cup of coffee.
The creator behind Costco Love on Instagram spotted pumpkin pies at their local Costco, too.
“Never too early!!!” one person commented on Shannon’s post. Another said, “I saw them yesterday, too. So good and great value.”
Seriously! Each three-pound pie is just under $6, making them an absolute steal. They feature a flaky pie crust, Costco’s own signature pumpkin pie filling recipe, and each one is baked in-store. You can grab one to enjoy right now and then another one to keep in the freezer until later in the season.
It sure looks like fall is officially here! Check your local Costco to see if pumpkin pies have hit the bakery floor to celebrate the season.
