There’s one makeup product I never leave the house without: lipstick. I feel like it completes my look and only takes a few seconds to apply. I’ve tried my fair share of lipsticks, and have a few that I love, however, I recently found my new favorite from none other than Dolly Parton‘s makeup brand, Dolly Beauty.
For some background, Dolly Beauty hit the market last year with a collection that embodies the energy and spirit of the country singer. We’re talking rhinestone-studded packaging, along with an extensive product line of lipsticks, eye products, and fragrances. One product worth highlighting from the collection? Their Heaven’s Kiss lipstick, which honestly, doesn’t leave my side during my 9 to 5 (see what I did there?). But really, it’s a game-changer for women who want something that’ll keep them feeling and looking their best, whether they’re working remotely at home or at the office.

Dolly Beauty Heaven’s Kiss Lipstick Review (2025)
Two months ago, I was able to get my hands on Dolly Beauty’s Heaven’s Kiss lipstick in the shade Soft Blush. The lipstick is a vibrant pinky shade and offers a satin finish. It’s worth noting that the formula is vegan, paraben-free, and has notes of lychee, rose petals and vanilla orchid.
At first, I was a bit skeptical as I’m usually not a huge fan of satin-finish lipsticks, but this one was different. It offered a sheen similar to lipgloss without being sticky and filmy. I only needed to put on two swipes of this creamy lipstick to achieve a full coverage look and it dried down in less than two minutes.
Aside from the pink color, which I loved, I was most impressed with how well the lipstick stayed in place. Despite talking in meetings, eating lunch, and going about my day, it stayed put and didn’t budge — I even did the kiss test to confirm. I only found myself needing to touch up a bit after I ate a burger, but that was likely because of the oil which can sometimes break down the formula otherwise it was locked in.
It is worth noting that there is a bit of fragrance in it. Although I’m usually not a fan of fragrance in beauty products, this one didn’t bother me too much. I was a bit hyper aware of the scent initially, but after a few wears, I didn’t notice it anymore.
Personally, pink is my lipstick color of choice. However, if you aren’t a fan of pink shades, don’t worry. Dolly Beauty’s Heaven’s Kiss lipstick is available in coats of many colors including Jolene Red, Rosebud, Birthday Suit, Honey Plum, Poppy Field, Soft Blush and Velvet Rose. Birthday Suit and Rosebud are the more warm, neutral shades whereas the other four are more red/pink tones.
Although I started wearing this lipstick over two months ago, it’s still going strong with a lot of product left. I’d say for $20 it’s a great value since it’s not only a high-quality formula, but also comes in eye-catching packaging that gives it a more luxurious look and feel.
Final Thoughts
I believe that lipstick is pivotal for any makeup routine to add a pop of color and pull a look together. The Heaven’s Kiss lipstick from Dolly Beauty does that and more at an affordable price point. Also, since a little bit of product goes a long way, you really get your money’s worth compared to other lipsticks that you constantly need to reapply.
Whether you’re a lipstick fanatic (like me), love Dolly Parton, or both, you can’t go wrong with trying out this lipstick.
