Dr. Bayo Curry-Winchell, MD, MS, known as Dr. Bayo ("Bye-Oh"), is a board-certified family medicine physician and nationally recognized health advocate who transforms how people navigate healthcare. As a healthcare ally, she helps patients understand their bodies and the healthcare system, sharing her expertise as host of the Beyond Clinical Walls Podcast and through her work as medical director of urgent care clinics at Saint Mary's Health Network and the Sexual Assault Response Team in Reno, NV.
Her influence extends far beyond clinical practice. Dr. Bayo serves on influential health organizations including Women’s Health Advocates, the American Heart Association's Healthy Heart, Healthy Smiles Advisory Committee , and the Nevada Patient Protection Commission, and previously served on the national CDC Community and Public Engagement Workgroup.
As a national media contributor appearing regularly on NBC and ABC and contributing to multiple media publications, prominent public speaker, and social media content creator, she reaches audiences nationwide helping people understand the healthcare system and their bodies so they can be informed advocates for their healthcare.

A recent graduate of the Goldman Sachs/NYU School of Business One Million Black Women in Business program, she continues to bridge the gap between clinical expertise and accessible health advocacy.
